The first great harvest has ripened outside our door,

so we bow with deep gratitude for the gleaning galore.

The thriving with a fruitful abundance of plenty,

we share it all with our own and many.

As our magnificent sun begins to fade,

mother earth bears the fruit that they made.

Praise the sun in celebration for its time in our land,

we honor its blessing of generosity and for making life grand.
